Mental Health Counseling

At Ravenwood Health, we support your goals through trauma-informed care in a compassionate, evidence-based, professional atmosphere. We have clients that range from just a few years old to nearly a century. Our counselors meet you where you are most comfortable, and at times, your family. This can be at one of our facilities, in your home, at a school, or even by way of telehealth (video calls).

What is trauma-informed care?

Ravenwood Health is a trauma-informed agency recognizing and responding to the effects of all forms of trauma. It is the practice of promoting a culture for clients and clinicians of safety, empowerment and healing built on pillars of compassion. Understanding the impact of Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) that often lead to the adult onset of chronic diseases, including mental illness and substance abuse is important for recovery. Trauma-informed care’s aim is to help survivors rebuild a sense of control and empowerment in their lives.

Individual Counseling

Trauma-informed care for adults, youth and children. Clients will work one-on-one with a trained mental health clinician in a safe, caring, and confidential environment.

Marital/Couple’s Counseling

Marital counseling, or couple’s counseling can help improve romantic relationships and address interpersonal conflict to improve the relationship and build connection.

Sex Abuse Counseling

You are not alone. We help children, youth, and adults who have been affected by sexual violence to lead productive, healthy, and abuse-free lives. We also offer offender rehabilitation and treatment.

Family Counseling

Improve communication and resolve conflict. We work with families to build toolboxes and offer resources to nurture change and development.
