Dual Diagnosis

Thorough assessments are completed to determine whether the client meets criteria for a diagnosis of drug and/or alcohol abuse or dependency, along with mental health needs. Counseling is available for individuals with chemical dependency issues as well as their families and significant others.

What is Dual Diagnosis?

A dual diagnosis occurs when a person has both a mental disorder as well as an alcohol or drug addiction. These conditions are frequently together. So much so that roughly half of people who have been diagnosed with a mental disorder also have substance use disorders at some point in their life.

Payment Methods

Ravenwood Health accepts private insurance, Medicaid, Medicare and self-pay clients. A sliding-fee scale is available to qualified Geauga County residents.
