Substance Use

Individual Counseling for youth and adults

Thorough assessments are completed to determine whether the client meets criteria for a diagnosis of a substance use disorder. The client’s mental health needs are also assessed. Counseling is available for individuals with dual diagnosis/ substance use as well as for their families and significant others.

Criminal Justice Programming

Assessment and counseling are provided to individuals involved in the court system. The therapists work closely with the courts, probation officers and other community professionals with the goal of decreasing illegal behaviors and encouraging a sober lifestyle. Assessments are provided in the Geauga County Safety Center and on an outpatient basis.

Intensive Outpatient (IOP) Programs

Ravenwood Health offers Intensive Outpatient Programs for youth and adults: Intensive Outpatient is offered to both youth and adults who have been diagnosed with a moderate to severe substance use disorder. The group meets three nights per week to explore substance use issues and develop resilience and recovery plans.
