Project DAWN (Deaths Avoided With Naloxone) is Ohio’s network of opioid education and naloxone distribution programs.
Participants receive a take-home kit and training, including:
- Recognizing the signs and symptoms of overdose Distinguishing between different types of overdose
- Performing rescue breathing
- Calling emergency medical services
- Administering intranasal naloxone
Ravenwood Health is a distribution site for Project DAWN through the Geauga County Health Department. Kits are offered FREE to anyone in the Geauga community, after reviewing a short training video and completing paperwork at our office.
